Born in New Orleans and raised in Houston, Jay (aka Spin Griffey) blends the bounce of the Big Easy with the chopped-and-screwed soul of Texas. That dual-city influence shaped a signature style: open-format, genre-fluid, and completely original. Whether it’s a packed club, brand stage, or arena full of fans, Spin’s sets always deliver energy, emotion, and unforgettable transitions.

Over the years, Spin has built a reputation as one of New Orleans’ most consistent and requested DJs. His versatility behind the decks and ability to move any crowd have made him a go-to for nightlife, festivals, corporate activations, and national stages.
